Rings of Power Reimagination - Korkanis

Korkanis, also know as Queen of Crows is one of the oldest Maiar ever to fall under the influence of the dark lord Morgoth. Unlike most, she did not take on the form of a fighting Balrog and her mind never stopped pouring out her own plans and thoughts. She became a crow watching the plans and movements of the enemies, forever on reconnaissance and plotting.
It was Korkanis in the service of Melkor and later Sauron who maintained the influence of dark forces among the people of the south and east, even far beyond the southern seas...
During the Second and Third Ages, she aided Sauron, but kept some influence to herself, strengthening her own significance and seeking ancient allies at Dark Court in the far east. Toward the end of the second age, she found in the woods of Rhundaur the ancient and powerful Ungolianth, who taught her about the Nothingness in which Melkor was chained, and in which there is a great power of endless darkness, which Ungolianth herself longs for, but cannot reach, because it is not possible to cross the sky vault for her. Queen of Crows, however, as Maiar used her power and crossed the sky vault with the Great Spider, but even they were not able to break Morgoth's chains.
